Fabolous Finish

This week Whetu has been working on their Fabolous finish. We had the options of Descriptive Passage, More about Me and create a model. I chose to create a model. The character I chose to do is Mr. Charles. The reason why I chose him is that I wanted to do a character that nobody really thought about doing. The hardest bit creating this was cutting the cardboard out because the cardboard was thick and hard to cut out things.
In the storge room was the easiest place to create in because you only need a few things to put inside it. I cut out a hole in the middle then I put a ladder in just to add a bit more just to be creative.

Inside of Mr. Charle's store, I made a cupboard and put boxes inside of it. I thought of adding more because it was still was a bit empty so I added a rug

Finding fresh water

.go downhill and follow a stream.
.dig a hole in a damp spot.
. find an area that has a lot of sunlight.

Shelter
. build your shelter on flat ground.
. Not to close to a stream.
. make sure it is stable to sleep in.

Fire

. way to build a fire is with dry wood.

. make sure it is not too windy.

. don't start a fire when raining.

Basic first aid

.Use the smoke to go up in the sky.

. Use a torch in the dark and shine it up.

. use a mirror to reflect from the sun.

Silver ferns

Some info about the silver fern.                   

The Silver Fern has been a national symbol of New Zealand since 1880. The Silver Fern is scaly and grows up to 12 meters tall also has white on the underside. A good place for Silver Fern is in a warm dry habitat.

Term 4 week 5 Chapter Chat Creation Station

Chapter Chat

This is my term 4 week 5 Chapter Chat. I decided to do Creation Station. For Creation Station, I Drew the Motivation Mobil. The Motivation Mobil Is when Coach Brody is in a car Driving behind them to make them run faster. The hardest bit creating this is drawing the car because I don't know how to draw a car. The easiest bit was drawing the people because I usually draw them like that.

Term 4 week 4 Chapter Chat Creation Station.

Creation Station

this is my term 4 week 4 Chapter Chat Creation Station. I made Coach Brody's medal. In the book Coach, Brodie won by running a 100 meter marathon. His dad sold it for 20 dollars to get some drugs. The hardest bit was drawing the runner on the medal because I'm not so good at drawing people. The easiest bit was coloring in because I love to do it and I am good at it.

Somebody told me the butterfly knot was hard. But I got it on my first try. The butterfly knot was fun to do once you got the hang of it I think this one should be helpful for a range of things.

For Whetu survivor I have chose to do a bowline knot I chose this one because it looks helpful for putting up tent because of the hole. The hole could be helpful by tightening the tent.

For Whetu survivor we were learning how to tie different knots. the reef knot was the easiest because it had the least amount of knots. We have to do this because if something goes wrong I'll know what to do.
