My Famous Person

For my famous person, I did Anna Paquin the reason that I did her is that I have always wanted to be an actor and I think that I would learn something from her so here is what I did.

Flip, Slide and rotate

This is my Flip slide and rotate. We had to do all of those to the shapes it was super fun because we got to draw the things ourselves. The hardest part was definitely flipping the heart because it was tricky to get the right shape. but I finished it. the easiest part was definitely sliding the triangle it was really easy because you just repeat the same shape and put it next to the other triangle. So yeah here is what I did.

POP ART!!!

This is the art that I did. We were all focusing on Pop Art. Pop Art is when cool and warm colours meet it POPS!!! I did mine Kiwiana style. I don't know why I just thought it would be cool. Mrs. M said that it would look even better if we all blend. so I blended in each square. I think my favourite square is the shell. Because I made it look like the waves are coming towards the shell. I think that the hardest bit was definitely drawing the background for the pohutukawa because the lines were really thin. I really like how my art turned out because it POPS and I think it is a supernova.

Should animals Be kept In Zoos?

This i smy inqury . we were all concerntraightin on the question Should Animals Be kept in zoos. I think that they should be because if animals like tigers where not in zoos they could go any where uncontorolled. But if the are then they can do thing but more safely. We had 3 coices for presenting it I chose to present it on a poster I chose that because I think that it will be the best way to present my learning. I think that it is a super nova because I did 5 facts about why animals should be kept in zoos and I drew so many pictures of animals that you will see in zoos. So yeah here is my final peice.

This is the Maths Mahi that I did. The time's tables and the divide abys were really easy but when it got to the proportions and ratios did make me think a bit harder but I did finish it.

Cross Country Reflection 2020

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain. I ran in the 10 age group.

I am most proud of the effort that I put into my running because I did not stop even though I had the worst stitch. But I did not want to stop and then let someone pass me but I didn’t. That’s how I made it into Hauraki Plains and I hope that I make it into Thames Valley as well.

I think my effort towards our training at school was a 10/10 because I really pushed myself to run faster and more fitter each day. I think that I got so much faster in my training.

I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by pushing myself to run faster than I usually would. I am so happy with my place. The placing that I got is Fifth.

This is my maths Mahi. I think that it is a supernova because I put in my full effort and lock in my answers. I don't think that it is that hard for me. But that is good because that shows that I know my Times Tables.

Chapter Chat (Research)

This is my Chapter Chat task I chose to do research. The book that we are reading Wink. I chose Vocabulary because I save the best ones for last. I think that this is a supernova because I could understand everything and put it into my own words. I also made up my own fonts. Then I coloured some of the triangles. I also went over the words with a sharpie to make it nice and BOLD.

Whetu challenge

This is our Whetu challenge that we did. The goal was to make a cartoon character and make them as realistic as possible. We all had to work with our Learning constellation. The character that I did was Elastgirl. I think that the hardest part was definitely making the outline because it was hard to get the right shape. I think that the easiest part was making the logo because I used word art.

Cross word!!!

This is my word cross I ended up finishing the whole entire thing. There were some hard ones and there were some easy ones. I think that the hardest one was definitely number Twenty-six. But it was still really fun to do. I worked with the people at my table Lola, Ihipera, and Taylor B. I helped them and they helped me I think that we worked really well because I finished it and I also got all of the questions correctly. But we all had to do our Number Of The Day before we all start the Word cross. So technically we all started at different times but I think that it worked well because of that no one could copy each other because we were all at different numbers. Byt we still helped each other which was really nice and good because I got all of the things done. I know that the that I was at a good table with a really go learning buzz
