Tennis Ball Tower Challenge
Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws, and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).
Today I worked with Carlee and Chole. We all came up with a great idea for our tennis ball to balance.
At first, we had trouble with what our design would like and how strong we wanted our base to be and how much resources we had and how are we going to use them.
The easiest thing was probably rolling up the newspaper not too tight and not to lose.
The best part of our tower was at the top because we had a really good job to make the ball balanced at the top.

Our tower looked a bit like rolled-up paper with a nice and secure finish at the top.
