Case closed

 Today Mrs. Taaffe confessed that she was the one that took the Cable because She was Haveing trouble casting. She also stole some Milky Bars. Mrs. Taaffe went to Whetu to do this but at least she confessed at the end. This Crime that Mrs. Taffe Committed on the 3pm eleventh of October 2020 during the holiday so when we came back to school we saw that it was taped off so we can collect evidence and see if there are any fingerprints on the scene before we start touching thing inside of the scene area. She ran into the Whetu classroom and grabbed the Cable and on her way back she got a few chocolates and exactly eighteen fell on the floor.

Week 5 Letter Of The Week

 This is my letter of the week. The Letter for this week is C I think that I did a very good job on this because I like the way it turned out. The hardest part was making up the sentence But I did the best I could I only did one word that does not start with the letter  C The easiest part was the rhyming words The words that I made rhyme was Crate, Debate, and Late. The finest part was changing the presentation I really like the way it turned out.

Athletics Reflection 2020 Week 4

 On Wednesday the 4th of November, we did athletes  The events that we did were Shotput, Long jump, Highjump, 100-meter run, 200-meter run, and 800 meters was optional but I still did it. 
The first event that we did was shotput I didn't get a placing but I definitely tried my hardest. 
Then we did a 100-meter run I didn't get a placing for that either but I sprinted my hardest. 
and after that we did High Jump I got a placing I got second which means that I a going to Hauraki planes I think that I did really well. 
after that, we did The two hundred I got second because it is longer than the one hundred. then I went to the finals I didn't know what I got but I did not get a place.
When that was all over I did The 800 I got 4th it was really tiring but I push through it
Then we did the Long jump I got fourth in that but it is the top three that go to Hauraki Planes. 
My favorite was the High Jump because it is really fun to jump as high as you can over a bar and land on something soft. 
It thinks that the hardest event of the day was definitely the 100-meters because I am not so strong at the sprints but it was still fun to do.

Letter Of The Week

This is my Letter of the week. The letter f the week is (R) I think that It ended up really well at the end because Of the fonts that I used and the background got it all tied together really well. I added a couple of images to make it a little bit more pretty and it definitely worked. The hardest part finding the proper noun because they didn't just come to my head like last week I had to think a bit more. The easiest part for me was definitely changing the fonts and colours to make it pop. It was all really fun I really enjoyed doing it this week.

 

Fingerprint Dusting

 Today Pekapeka has been dusting our fingerprints. This is the fingerprint that I did. My one kind of looks like an arch. I think that the part that was the most fun for me was dusting the fingerprint tI was hard because you don't want to put too much dust on it because you won't see the fingerprint and you don't want to put enough it won't show up. The hardest part was peeling the tape off to collect the fingerprint because the piece of tape that I got folded but luckily it didn't annoy the fingerprint that I did. If it did I would have to start again. It was really cool when we stuck it on the black paper because straight away you could see the fingerprint because the dust is white so it will show up only on black paper.

Fingerprints

Whetu has been learning about fingerprints. I learned that there is more than one type of fingerprints. I also learned that you don't just press to get the fingerprint, you actually have to role your finger and it is best to do it on the side of the table so you can roll your finger. I did not know that police identify people with fingerprints and other stuff. It was really fun to press our finger on the ink and spread it on the paper.

Crime Scene Do Not Cross

 On the first day back at school, there was a crime scene. Someone had broken into the classroom and stole a Milkyway. We have written down everything that isn't normal from the last term. There were a lot of things but one really bad one the window of the door was crack and a lot of blood on it. We also found Mr. Singh's driver's license underneath the table. It really surprised me because when I first came to school the first thing that I saw was a bright yellow tape that said do not enter Police on it, and we couldn't put our avatar across to do the role because that's where the crime happened. We were put in groups and we got to name ourselves we called our selfs The CoedBreakers, and we got to make our own logo it looks really cool because we put a magnifying glass on top of it and it looks really good. I think that we did a good job I can't wait to find out who did this crime.

This is the Literacy Mystery that I did. It was called Potential Astronauts. This one was a bit harder because the first one got my brain working a bit more than the Mystery Of The Missing Moji. But I finished It. I think that I did really well because I am pretty sure that I got it right because I looked through and I didn't make any mistakes so finger crossed I got it right.

Maths Mystery

This is my Maths Mystery. It is The Mystery Of The Missing Moji. I think that I got it right because when I went through the answer I got no mistakes. I was kind of easy because I knew the answers to all of the questions. My answer, I got is the guy with the halo around its head. I hope I got it right.

Letter Of The Week

This is my Letter of the week. The letter of the week is M. I think that I did pretty well in the end because the colours all tie together and the images look good. The funest part was adding the pictures at the end because all of the images look good. The hardest part was definitely trying to think of a Prouper noun that not many people would do I came up with Monday I think that I did well.

The hardest part was probably finding a word that has two Gs together. But I found one. The easiest part was changing the fonts because I know how to do that already.

                                   

The Mystery Of The Missing Medal

 This is my Other Mistery. But this one is a literacy. It was about a missing medal. I worked with Madison. I think that we worked really well together because we got it done really quickly and fast. But I think that we both got it right. The hardest question was definitely number clue 4 because we had to look at an image and see what it is and two of them kind of look the same. 

The missing slice of cake

This week's maths Mystery was about The Missing Slice Of Cake. For the mystery, I worked with Haven. I think that we worked really well together for our final answer we got Ariana Ahomiro.

The Mystery Of The Missing Treasure!!!

This week's literacy investigation was about The mystery Of The Missing Treasure. It was all kinda easy because Taylor and I could work it out like straight away. I really like investigation like these because get to cross off all of the names until you are left with one name and that is your final answer. We got Lassie Lincon for our final answer I think that I got it right.

Cooking

This week I joined the cooking group

On the first day we where all learning about safety in the kitchen. I learned that you should never put on socks when you are in the kitchen because it is very likely to slip over. You shouldn't have toys or a baby on the floor because you can trip over and hurt yourself and others.

On the second day, we went to the kitchen and started to prep our food. I peeled a kumara and cut it up. it took a long time to peel the kimura because I have never peeled a kumara and cut it all up.

On the third day we got to taste our soup it was yummy because it all went together. My favourite part was definitely eating because it tastes soo good!!!

My Famous Person

For my famous person, I did Anna Paquin the reason that I did her is that I have always wanted to be an actor and I think that I would learn something from her so here is what I did.

Flip, Slide and rotate

This is my Flip slide and rotate. We had to do all of those to the shapes it was super fun because we got to draw the things ourselves. The hardest part was definitely flipping the heart because it was tricky to get the right shape. but I finished it. the easiest part was definitely sliding the triangle it was really easy because you just repeat the same shape and put it next to the other triangle. So yeah here is what I did.

POP ART!!!

This is the art that I did. We were all focusing on Pop Art. Pop Art is when cool and warm colours meet it POPS!!! I did mine Kiwiana style. I don't know why I just thought it would be cool. Mrs. M said that it would look even better if we all blend. so I blended in each square. I think my favourite square is the shell. Because I made it look like the waves are coming towards the shell. I think that the hardest bit was definitely drawing the background for the pohutukawa because the lines were really thin. I really like how my art turned out because it POPS and I think it is a supernova.

Should animals Be kept In Zoos?

This i smy inqury . we were all concerntraightin on the question Should Animals Be kept in zoos. I think that they should be because if animals like tigers where not in zoos they could go any where uncontorolled. But if the are then they can do thing but more safely. We had 3 coices for presenting it I chose to present it on a poster I chose that because I think that it will be the best way to present my learning. I think that it is a super nova because I did 5 facts about why animals should be kept in zoos and I drew so many pictures of animals that you will see in zoos. So yeah here is my final peice.
